The Sports Bar and Betting Corner was active on Sunday Eve (NFL Playoffs.) We used the gym which was much better than most hotel gyms. When we walked the floor on Monday morning (MLK Day), there was one table in use.
I'm a poker player and their 'poker room' is a fenced off section in a corner of the floor. As is the case with most Atlantic City casinos, the smoking section was unbearable, but it was comfortable on the rest of the floor. The higher end restaurants are in a separate corner of the hotel. The casino is large and modern/ upscale with dining options surrounding the perimiter. Our view faced the ocean and steel pier and we were bathed in light all night. The room was lovely - I think they are all ocean view rooms, nicely appointed, though a bit small, though the bathroom was over-sized and luxurious. The wait to check in was about a half hour largely due to an understaffed desk (4 clerks) that was catering to 'Black Card' holders. its a big place and finding your way around is not initially intuitive. It was our first time and it was a challenge finding the front desk. We visited on the Sunday of the MLK (2019) weekend.
